In 2016 Hall & Oates kicked off their tour in front of a sold-out crowd at Madison Square Garden. But before they revisited the hits that landed them in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, we helped them create a one-of-a-kind concert experience. 

 

Designing with Cutting-Edge Technology

We collaborated with famed lighting designer Jesper Luth to create an experience that fans would remember. The team spent significant time in the Morris Pre-Visualization Suite—a 500 sq. ft. space located on the second floor of the Morris offices. The space is equipped with multiple 50-inch screens, comfortable seating, and 3-D technology that simulates the exact lighting design the audience will see during a live performance and provides multiple stage views at the same time. 

Using Only the Best Gear

This particular lighting design was created using Clay Paky Mythos, Clay Paky Sharpy Washes, Martin MAC Viper Profile Spots and Solaris Mozarts to provide incredible variety in just a single fixture.

And Doing It Efficiently

Along with providing lighting design and equipment, Morris also designed six custom carts that extend to 16 feet. These carts allow the production team to roll risers in and out for opening acts and create efficiency by reducing setup time.
