Associate Project Manager, Integration | Nashville, TN
PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION
The primary job responsibilities of the Integration Associate Project Manager is to assist in successful completion of all AVL installation projects. This includes management of process, customer, and internal team in order to generate successful results.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in managing AVL Construction installation projects overseeing the project from start to finish
Schedule and assist in scheduling AVL job with installation team installers, clients and coordinate with other trades providing Gantt charts and project timelines as required by supervisor
Track and update progress, attend project manager meetings and issue detailed reports on AV projects to management and project team
Perform site visits as necessary to confirm AV project progress and completion.
Responsible for client satisfaction on projects and communicating progress with customers and staff
Assist in managing project budget, schedule and scope of work. Maintain a safe and secure jobsite and ensure all permitting and compliance regulations are met
Identify and resolve any changes or issues that may arise during the construction phase, including generating change orders
Coordinate with Lead Project Manager to create project schedule
Coordinate and schedule completion of punch list tasks
Provide day to day management of installation team both full time and 1099.
Promote a team mentality within the installation staff
Have a focus on customer and team relationships
Must enjoy finding solutions to difficult problems and mediating that process between clients and other vendors
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Must be comfortable managing relationships with construction crews and contractors

Excellent ability to successfully interface with clients and handle multiple priorities concurrently

Dedication and commitment to get the job done.
Competent in MS Office products and efficient in email and internet applications
Valid driver’s license
Weekend and/or night work will be required
Domestic travel requiring multi-night stays within and at times outside the local work area

Requires extensive sitting, standing and walking
Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
Oral communication via telephone and in person.
Ability to view computer monitor for extended periods.
